an ebony pack strewn with onyx

August 7, 2008

Made of a soft and perfectly matte material, this shapely pack has been dyed the colour of deepest ebony. Pockets of varied sizes have been carefully sewn on the sides and in the front to help organize the contents better. Small onyx, cut to form elaborate buttons, have been used to add a little elegance to pocket closures. A multitude of tiny chips of onyx has also been used to form an emblem of Magnagora on the flap, under from which protrudes a braided golden string used to hold the pack closed. Dark leather lines the interior for easy maintenance and additional protection.

an ashen pack adorned with bone talismans

August 7, 2008

This pack has been skillfully sewn from shimmering, ashen velvet, overlain with swatches of burnt velvet set with scalloping designs. Strips of heavy, grey-dyed canvas reinforced with thick stitching hold the pack in its shape, making it both deep and sturdy. Small pockets of thick velvet line the sides, their flaps closed with tiny buttons of bone. Ivory knucklebones engraved with blasphemous sigils dangle from the canvas strips on the back of the pack, rattling at the slightest breeze.

a silvery-blue pack of soft angelskin

August 7, 2008

This unusual pack has been sewn wholly out of a soft patch of skin that once belonged to one of the Holy Celestia’s angels. Now serving for no more than a container, it has been tinted blue and brushed with silver paint for better preservation of such delicate material. The flap bears a medium-sized emblem of Magnagora that has been burnt into the skin in the final act of humiliation of the being this skin has been torn away from. Functionally, the pack does not differ at all from any other of this pattern. It has the usual shape, numerous pockets held close by imp-shaped silver buttons and silvery silk lining.

a ruby-red suede backpack

August 7, 2008

Simple in design and execution, this backpack has been sewn from a ruby-red hued suede and accented only by scarce golden embroidery around the buttons. It sports a multitude of pockets as befits a utilitarian backpack and has been lined with black cloth. The buttons are possibly the only more extravagant detail as they are triangle-shaped and set with an opal each.

a cerise pack sewn with snowy amaranths

July 14, 2008

This unusual pack has been sewn from glistening cerise brocade, clearly meant to be more decorative than utilitarian. The inside has been lined with red velvet assuring that all contents will be carried with a maximum of consideration whether they are fragile or not. It has the usual number of pockets that most backpacks sport and adjustable straps, the only difference being that it has buttons made of sizable chips of rubies, carved to resemble a small bell each. The most noticeable feature of this pack, however, is the wonderful multitude of large amaranths sewn with a shimmering snow-white thread throughout the exterior, a tribute to Nifilhema, the Demon Lady of Nil.

a blueberry pack sewn with golden cogs

July 14, 2008

Although plush in touch, the material that constitutes this pack is definitely suede. For the sake of a compelling appearance, without sacrificing durability, this particular suede has been mixed with satin which gives it an unusual soft texture. The inside has been lined with black velvet for comfort and utility whilst the outside has been dyed to a rich and luscious blueberry hue. Randomly sewn throughout the exterior are stylized golden cogs, the symbols of Magnagoran unity and progress. The sides sport two sizable pockets, both of which are closed by golden-tinted leather strings whilst the flap is locked on an oval button set with a yellow beryl that has a tiny cog etched upon it. The straps are of a slightly darker hue and lined underneath with velvet for comfort.
