a long silvery necklace adorned with jet corsage

December 27, 2008

Tendrils of gleaming platinum have been hammered together into a flexible, slim chain of this necklace, wrapping around the neck loosely and falling all the way to below the bust. Various corsage adornments have been attached firmly throughout the length of the chain; amongst them a midnight black silken rose in full bloom a little below the bust on the right side and an onyx snowflake interlaced with a jet satin ribbon tied into a bow on the left side right at the bosom. A handful of oblong smooth onyxes and crystal clear diamonds have been strung through the top of the chain at the shoulder-blades, then in round ones in sets of two in the middle and finally a few have been strewn along the bottom of the chain.

a filigree obsidian mirror necklace

November 16, 2008

Slender threads of white gold have been braided loosely to create the glimmering chain of this necklace, linked at the neck with a delicate lobster clasp engraved with a simplified sketch of a crouched gargoyle. Right below the collarbones, the threads expand smoothly into filigree ornamentation set with a diamond each, before they link at the apex. Two links continue downwards from those embellishments to grasp the sides of a scrollwork and filigree oval setting. It has been surmounted by a pentagonal obsidian cabochon with rounded edges as its centrepiece, its surface perfectly smooth and reflective, without a single flaw. Its semi-lucent quality allows a glimpse of a carving that adorns the setting behind it, depicting high magic spheres. A curving runic script has been etched around the mirror upon the metal, the symbols oddly unsettling.

a tenebrous necklace of black nacre coins

August 26, 2008

Delicate tendrils of pure gold, interlacing in chaotic patterns, coalesce into the chain of this necklace. Antiquated with a dark patina which lends it a tarnished look, the tenebrous gold closes on an adjustable clasp. Threaded through the tendrils at the apex, a collection of black nacre coins gathers around the sternum with an iridescent display of colours. The light adornment elicits soft jingles with each movement as the coins clap against each other. Rendered in a simplified sketch, the form of a crouched gargoyle has been engraved on the inner side of the closing.

a finely-spun necklace of tarnished golden tendrils

August 18, 2008

Diaphanous tendrils of the finest gold are intertwined to form this delicate necklace. Spun into a meticulous yet unfathomable pattern, the sinuous weaving is embellished at the necklace’s apex with a magnificent cluster of golden beads of no particular form. The tiny motes elicit soft whispers of clinking amidst movement, fashioned to rest aesthetically into the hollow of the wearer’s collarbone. The tendrils and beads bear the signs of antiquity, gracefully tarnished but nonetheless exquisite. A tiny, intricate pinion has been engraved into one of the beads.

a mystical amulet necklace of the Ouroboros

August 18, 2008

Delicate threads of gold and platinum have been drawn and twisted neatly into a flexible metal braid that shimmers with warm and cool light, subtly linked with a capped clasp of gold. A single link of gleaming silver lies at the base of the chain’s drape, securing a gleaming disk of dark sterling. The centre of the pendant is divided by four deeply-carved lines that radiate out in a grim burst, crossed by incomplete arcs that form an intricate ritualistic glyph. High magic symbols, lined with a mysterious light of their own, fill the space between the sigil’s framework. About the circumference of the disk, the flat metal has been shaped and textured into an ouroboros that holds the runes in check, and whose eyes burn with the same eldritch light of the spell-work it contains. On the amulet’s reverse side, an intricate pinion has been engraved.
