Giving off a sickly stench of preservative, an elegant ravenwood couch sits here, upholstered with a patchwork of scalps.
Neatly sewn together onca frame of polished ravenwood, a multitude of scalps upholster this couch. Each seems to have been chosen for the copious hair upon it, and manes of varying consistency and hue make a patchwork of browns, blacks, greys and reds. The hair on each scalp has been lovingly combed, trimmed to an equal length, and treated with a sickly and malodorous preservative which stifles the air around it. The wooden frame is of an elegant and pleasing shape, curving backwoods along the top, and intricately carved with fluting lines and scrollwork. The legs are four carved demon’s feet, with iron talons which grip the floor and prevent the couch slipping or sliding across the ground.
