Welcome
The Midnight Sanctum is a small, but growing, database of designs of various crafts from the addictive text game – Lusternia, Age of Ascension. One is able to choose a trade skills there for free, unlike in the other IRE games where one has to purchase a pricey permit, and be able to craft away even as a mere novice. Designing is split among three categories: public, organisational cartels, and private cartels. One can submit designs, even to the public, only through cartels but each organisation has a branch of their own where the election-chosen Trademaster submits designs as per will of the cartel members.The following are the crafts to choose from: Artisan (furniture, instruments, watches etc.), Bookbinding, Cooking, Forging, Jewelry, and Tailoring. The patterns available for each craft can be found here, whereas here one can find all the available commodities to be used.
The designs found in this database come solely from the private cartels belonging to myself and other members of the Gasflame Repertoire, and have been stored here for reasons ranging from patting ourselves on the back for being so awesome at designing, through gathering them all in one place, on simply providing others with an easy means of looking up what we have to offer ending. Private, of course, does not entail that these designs are not available to the public. Au contraire! We try to stock them up in various shops, where applicable, or advertise them throughout the land through other means (like here too!).

Sometimes a theme entices us so completely that we use it absolutely for all designs possible and entwine it with other themes to such an the extent that some of them are inside jokes now. Namely, if you want one of us to design you something random, be sure there will be amaranths, cogs, and tentacles in it. And maybe some clockwork!
